After more than six years, authorities announced that remains recovered in Missouri City in January 2020 were identified as Kristen Galvan through advanced forensic DNA work. The homicide investigation remains active.

Americans Against Sex Trafficking (AAST Texas) exists to honor Kristen Galvan by helping communities recognize exploitation, protect vulnerable children and families, support survivors, and stand together against human trafficking.

By sharing Kristen's story responsibly, we hope to help families recognize danger sooner, encourage communities to take trafficking seriously, and inspire people to protect those who may not yet be able to protect themselves.
